Amazon.com Names KoTOR Game of the Year

Online superstore Amazon.com recently compiled a list of 2003's best games, and LucasArts & Bioware's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was named not only Xbox Game of the Year, but also claimed the Overall Game of the Year award. Amazon editor Michael Fehlauer called the game a "masterpiece of Star Wars gaming."

This news comes shortly after Spike TV held a game awards show, for which KoTOR won for Best Fantasy Game, along with a Golden Joystick award for Xbox Game of the Year in the United Kingdom.

The game, now available on both PC and Xbox, has received an average review score of 94%, making it the second highest rated Xbox title of all time. Our three reviewers gave KoTOR a 91%, 98% and 95%, all of which are linked below.
