Mythic Entertainment Files Lawsuit Against Microsoft

Mythic Entertainment, the company behind the popular MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot, has filed a lawsuit against Microsoft over the use of the trademark Mythica. Mythic Entertainment claims that the trademark would infringe on its name and trademarks as well as possibly confusing consumers. Mythic is seeking a permanent injunction preventing Microsoft from using the name and financial damages, including legal fees in the lawsuit. Furthermore, according to CEO Mark Jacobs, Microsoft's online title Mythica shows striking similarities to his company's flagship series Dark Age of Camelot, including a comparable setting, similar terminology, and the name.
