Sony Online Entertainment Inc. (SOE) has recently reported that its highly anticipated Action RPG, Champions of Norrath, will support a USB headset voice chat on the Playstation 2 console. Champions will require the use of broadband connection to support four players talking and playing simultaneously online in the game's fully interactive 3D environment. As stated on the official Champions of Norrath website, SOE director of marketing, Michael Lustenberger, notes, "Voice chat is the final piece of the puzzle with Champions. It's the one feature that has been most requested in the game and we are pleased to announce its inclusion. With the addition of voice chat, we believe Champions is now far and away the leader in its genre."
Champions of Norrath, exclusively for the Playstation 2 console, is slated for a February release in the US and Canada.
