Square Enix has released a few new tidbits regarding the Arte Piazza-developed PlayStation 2 remake of Dragon Quest V: Tenguu no Hanayome. As previously reported, the game will feature day and night cycles, similar to the series' Level 5-developed eighth installment. Those cycles will not only effect the world map's visuals, but also enemy encounters. Apart from a different background during battles, players should also prepare themselves for tougher encounters when travelling during the night. Furthermore, when the protagonists arrive at a city or town at night, the NPCs there will exhibit a different behavior than during daylight.Dragon Quest V: Tenguu no Hanayome for PlayStation 2 will be available in Japan sometime in spring.
