OneUp Studios to release Sega soundtrack in March?
02.02.04 - 5:35 PM

OneUp Studios is currently planning on releasing a soundtrack called The Very Best of SEGA sometime in March. The album, consisting of arranged and remixed versions of various Sega classic games is produced and performed by various talented musicians right here in America.

However, with the videogame music scene not being as popular on this side of the pacific, OneUp Studios needs some help in order to get the CD released. As such, you should head over to their website and pre-order the CD to help pay for the manufacturing and licensing. Every videogame music fan should order the CD as it goes a long way into helping to establish a stronger videogame music market in America and might help future releases of videogame soundtrack over here.

For anyone not familiar with OneUp Studios' work, head over to our soundtrack section and read our review of their previous release Time & Space: A Tribute to Yasunori Mitsuda and listen to the samples available on that page. You can access the review by clicking here.

OneUp Studios is also planning on releasing an arranged album of the Xenogears soundtrack, as well as an album of their live band, the OneUp Mushrooms, this year.

To pre-order the The Very Best of SEGA soundtrack, head over to their website at www.oneupstudios.com.
