Atlus has opened the official website for the newest installment in its long-running flagship series Shin Megami Tensei, Digital Devil Saga: Avatel Tuner. The game's protagonist is a young man named Surf. Along with four others, he is aiming to reach Nirvana, a place only the Junkyard Champion is allowed to reach. Hence, they spend their lives racing against others to win the opportunity to go there. All of a sudden however, a mysterious object called Tsubomi appears rendering them in light, and the mysterious power Atoma awakens. The five receive help from a young dark-haired girl named Sera, who joins them. After being confirmed as Junkyard Champions and reaching Nirvana, they receive an order from to the Karma Church, where the race referee resides. A girl holding on a mysterious key has appeared and the general situation is aggravating. Then the connections within Tokyo break down. Followed by the shadows of their real enemies, Surf and his friends will soon have to face a shocking reality.
Digital Devil Saga: Avatel Tuner will be available in Japan sometime this summer.
