Namco sends Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos to Europe
02.08.04 - 2:17 AM

Namco has confirmed plans to release its two first GameCube RPGs Tales of Symphonia and Baten Kaitos: Owaranai Tsubasa to Ushinawareta Umi in Europe. No details were available, but considering the lengthy localization period, neither title will be available on the other side of the Atlantic before the end of 2004 or early 2005.

Originally released in Japan last year, Tales of Symphonia and Baten Kaitos have fared very differently. Tales of Symphonia managed to sell 290,000 copies, but the Monolith Soft-developed Baten Kaitos was struggling to sell even 100,000 copies. Both games will be released in the US as well, with Tales of Symphonia heading for a release sometime during the third quarter.
