The Austin, Texas-based US branch of the Korean MMORPG giant NCSoft has announced a pre-order campaign for two of its upcoming titles, Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicle and City of Heroes. The so-called pre-order retail box campaign will begin this week, with both games heading for North American releases sometime this spring.Below you will find a list of the various free items a pre-order of either title will net you. Note however, that items will vary between different retail outlets. In the case of
Lineage II, fans will receive a set of four collectible trading cards, the Lineage II Original Soundtrack as well the chance to participate in the game's beta test. The City of Heroes pre-order campaign will center around the so-called prestige power, an in-game item unique to each of the different versions of the box. Also included is a digital version of the limited edition City of Heroes comic book and the chance to participate in the game's beta test.
