After months of anticipation, Square Enix's long-awaited action RPG for the PlayStation 2, Drakengard (Drag-on Dragoon in Japan) finally ships to retail shelves. To commemorate this event, we've put together an in-depth review of this aspiring new title.

Mixing the elements of large-scale combat ala Dynasty Warriors with Panzer Dragoon-inspired aerial battle and a healthy dose of traditional RPG elements, Square Enix serves up an interesting melange with Drakengard.
