03.16.04 - 7:47 PM

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced that a new Fire Emblem title will be revealed next month. Oddly enough, this announcement was posted on the official Japanese websites for the two most recent Fire Emblem titles: Rekka no Ken and Fuuin no Tsurugi. While no other details are available yet, it has been said that Intelligent Systems has considered bringing the strategy RPG series to the GameCube.

In other Fire Emblem related news, new details were also available on the Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken and Fuuin no Tsurugi Characters book, which consists of official artworks and information on 118 characters from both games. The book also comes with a soundtrack CD, with 60 tracks from both games. The book will be released in Japan on April 13th for 2,800 yen ($25.73 US).
