Sakura Taisen Fan Club To Close Doors in Two Months
03.17.04 - 7:40 PM

Sega has annnounced that its Sakura Taisen fan club will be shut down on May 31st. After concluding that under the current business conditions, it was impossible to offer popular content, the company concluded it was time for a drastic reform. Hence the the decision to close the club in its current state. At the same time, Sega expressed interest in setting up a new, overhauled club in the future, though.

Regardless of this development, the company will ship the Sega WOW-developed newest installment in the series, Sakura Taisen Monogatari: Mysterious Paris to Japanese retail stores tomorrow. The first pure adventure title in the series will retail for 6,980 yen ($64.14 US).
