Dark Chronicle Arrange Album Announced

Composer Yasunori Mitsuda, known for his work on Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Chrono Cross and Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht (The Will to Power) among others, is taking part in an arranged album of Dark Chronicle's (Dark Cloud 2) soundtrack. Titled Dark Chronicle Premium Arrange, the soundtrack will be released on April 21st. Mitsuda was in charge of arranging the game's main theme, Owaranai Bouken. Other composers who arranged tracks for the album include Yoko Shimomura, The Black Mages, Motoi Sakuraba, and Noriyuki Iwadare, among others. Published by Team Entertainment, it will be available for 3,150 yen ($28.64 US). The tracklisting for the CD is as follows, with the song's arranger in parentheses:

In other soundtrack news, last week Sony Music Distribution published another work of Mitsuda's, the Shadow Hearts II Original Soundtrack. Mitsuda, who composed six tracks, cooperated with Kenji Ito and Yoshitaka Hirota on the soundtrack for the Nautilus-developed RPG. The Shadow Hearts II OST is available for 3,360 yen ($31.74 US).
