John Riccitiello Leaves Electronic Arts

President and chief operating officer John Riccitiello has resigned from his positions and left the Redwood City, California-based Electronic Arts company. Until next month however, Riccitiello will remain with the world's largest third party publisher to make sure a smooth transition can be ensured. Riccitiello plans to start his own venture capital company. In the meantime, Electronic Arts has already begun looking for a candidate to succeed him.
