First Tales of Rebirth Details Revealed

Following today's announcement of Namco's newest Tales game, Tales of Rebirth, first tidbits on the PlayStation 2 title's story have surfaced. In ancient times, humans and Gajema had repeatedly clashed over supremacy. While humans always relied on their mental capabilities, the Gajema preferred to use their superior physical abilities. During war the Holy Beast King Georgis led his armies against the humans. At the end of the war however, his body and soul were sealed by the Moon of Goldoba. Since then men have referred to that war as the Holy War. Since then both races have opted for peaceful co-existence. Tales of Rebirth is set against the background of the now flourishing world of Kalegia. Its protagonist, the human boy Vague, lives in the northern town of Suluz.Tales of Rebirth will be available in Japan sometime this year.
