The Matrix Online to Feature AOL Instant Messenger Support
04.13.04 - 1:25 PM

Warner Bros. has announced today the integration of AOL Instant Messenger into its upcoming MMORPG The Matrix Online. The popular application will allow players of the Monolith Productions-developed title to communicate with friends and fellow users, regardless whether they are actually playing the game or not. Players will not have to reveal their AOL or AIM screen name, but rather can continue using their in-game character's nickname.

The Matrix Online will be available for the PC platform sometime in October.
