Funcom Secures Outside Investment

Oslo, Norway-based Funcom has announced that the company has secured an equity investment worth 4.5 million euros ($5.37 million US) from Northzone Ventures, Teknoinvest and Stelt Holding. The latter two have already invested in Funcom prior to the recent capital infusion. With the investment, Funcom aims to improve the quality and widen the scope of upcoming MMOGs while expanding its worldwide marketing and sales operations.
