Square Enix to Re-Release FFVIII and FFIX Ultimania Strategy Guides

Square Enix will re-release the strategy guides for two of its most popular PlayStation One titles. Content-wise unchanged, the re-prints of Final Fantasy VIII Ultimania and Final Fantasy IX Ultimania will be released in Japan on June 25th. The former will be available for 1,500 yen ($13.70 US), whereas the latter will carry a price tag of 1,800 yen ($16.44 US).Just like the original soundtracks of Square's PlayStation One titles, the official strategy guides were originally published by DigiCube in Japan. Following DigiCube's collapse over massive debt late last year, soundtracks and strategy guides went out of print. Square Enix recently has began re-releasing both types of products again.
