New Sakura Taisen V Episode 0 Details Revealed

Following a lengthy period of silence, Sega today revealed some new details regardings its newest installment in its popular Sakura Taisen series, Sakura Taisen V Episode 0: Arano no Samurai Musume. Unlike the series' first four installments, the game will employ a battle system known as Active and Realtime Machine System (ARMS). The game's adventure part will feature the well-known Live and Interactive Picture System, better known as LIPS. Apart from the female protagonist Gemini Sunrise and her horse Rally, three more characters have been revealed. Fuanita Cushing is a 10-year old native of Pennsylvania. Despite her young age, she knows a lot and travels alone. After meeting Gemini, the two travel together. Bread Basileus is a member of what used to be the Seventh Calvary. He is looking for a female rider, who has single-handedly wiped out his entire unit and wonders whether Gemini was the mysterious rider. Patrick Hamilton is a resurrected evil magician. He went to Japan together with Fudouglas Stewart president Brent Falong in an attempt to overthrow the Empire. During a battle with the Teikoku Kagekidan, Falong died and Hamilton himself was also hit by one of Maria's bullets. However his remains were secretly returned to the US, where a subordinate of his gave him a new body, thereby effectively reviving him. In one of Fudouglas Stewart's factories, Hamilton begins the production of steam-powered machinery in order to achieve his ambitious aims. As to why he was revived and why he is chasing Fuanita, are just two of the many secrets of Hamilton.

Sakura Taisen V Episode 0: Arano no Samurai Musume will be released in Japan on September 22nd for 6,800 yen (63.37 US).
