LucasArts to Reward Star Wars Galaxies Users

LucasArts has announced plans to reward long-time players of its MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided. Those who have had an active game account for six months and purchase the upcoming first expansion, Jump to Lightspeed, will receive a luxurious space yacht as a free means of transportation. The spacecraft is only the first part of what is being laid out as a full-fledged rewards program.Since its launch in July 2003, Star Wars Galaxies has managed to attract 500,000 users, 115,000 of which log on to the game on a daily basis. The first expansion pack (Jump to Lightspeed) will be released on October 25th.
