Ys VI Goes Mobile in Japan
07.01.04 - 1:07 AM

Taito and Nihon Falcom have announced that last year's action RPG Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim will be available through Vodafone Live on 256K Application Version 2-enabled cellphones in Japan. Currently, Vodafone's V602SH and V601T support this standard. The upcoming V602H will come with a pre-installed trial version of the game. Furthermore, users who download the game to their cellphones have the chance to win one of ten Falcom Special Boxes 2004 every month.

While a definite release date has yet to be announced, the fact that the first monthly sweepstakes will be held next month points to a release in or around July. Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim for Vodafone Live will cost 500 yen ($4.62 USD) per download.
