World of Warcraft European Closed Beta Test Details Revealed
07.02.04 - 1:01 AM

Blizzard Entertainment will begin accepting applications for the European closed beta test of its MMORPG World of Warcraft starting July 5th. After three weeks, beta testers will be picked randomly among all applicants. Apart from testing standard technical aspects, the beta's purpose is to check on the game's European infrastructure as well as the French and German localizations. While World of Warcraft will run on local servers in Europe and will be managed by a pan-European network team, Blizzard decided not to license it.

World of Warcraft will be available in the US late this year.
