Fallout 3 To Be Published By Bethesda Softworks.

Legends in the PC RPG world, Fallout I and II are well known for their creativity and open-ended gameplay. Bethesda Softworks, creators of the Elder Scrolls series, announced today that they would be handling the development and publishing of the story of the next Vault Dwellers, Fallout 3. Fallout 3 will be produced by Todd Howard, executive producer of the Elder Scrolls series, with its well renound title Morrowind.Interplay CEO Herve Caen was quoted as saying, "Although several parties had a high level of interest in licensing Fallout, we are most impressed by Bethesda's execution of role-playing titles. Bethesda is an ideal steward of the Fallout franchise." No release date has been set for Fallout 3, but keep watch on RPGFan for the latest news.
