SOE Announces EverQuest II Sweepstakes

San Diego, California-based Sony Online Entertainment announced the Discover the Riches of EverQuest II Sweepstakes to promote the upcoming release of the sequel to its highly popular MMORPG title. Moviegoers visiting Regal Entertainment Group's movie theaters will have the chance to win one out of thousands of prizes and furthermore get the chance to participate in a sweepstakes to win two Jeep Wranglers. Fans will have to look out for game pieces, which are now available on large popcorn tubs and drinks as well as in the theater lobbies of Edwards Theatres, United Artists Theatres and Regal Cinemas. Upon registering online on the game's official website, participants can check out whether they have won a prize by viewing one out of 15 EverQuest II trailers highlighting the title's playable races available at launch. Virtual game pieces can also be obtained via the official website. Game pieces will also be available at GenCon from August 19th to 22nd, at DC Comics-affiliated comic book stores from September 8th to 30th and at V-Games video games tournaments. EverQuest II will be released on November 1st.
