Dokapon The World Heading for November Release

Asmik Ace has announced that it will release the newest installment of its Dokapon series for PlayStation 2 in early November. Titled Dokapon The World, the game is described as an RPG-style friendly, but destructive board game. Mine Yoshizaki has drawn the game's character designs, while Yuuzou Koshiro, who has previously worked on various Ys soundtracks, has been in charge of the new title's sound. Akemi Omode, whose track record includes Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters and Arc The Lad served as scenario writer.Dokapon The World will be released in Japan on November 3rd for 6,800 yen ($62.04 US). Fans who pre-order their copy of the game will receive a free Dokapon characters guide as a present. Furthermore, the first print will ship with an original poster.
