Blizzard and FilePlanet Team Up for World of Warcraft Stress Test
08.29.04 - 2:08 PM

Blizzard Entertainment has teamed up with FilePlanet to launch a seven-day stress test beta aimed at optimizing the performance of the upcoming MMORPG World of Warcraft. While the exact time period has yet to be announced, Blizzard already confirmed that 100,000 users will take part in the stress test. Those interested in applying can do so via FilePlanet's website. While the content offered to testers will be the same currently tested by users of the closed beta build, this second beta will run on different servers than the closed beta test. Blizzard also plans an open beta testing phase later this year.
