Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne Receives M Rating
09.04.04 - 9:20 PM

Atlus USA has announced that its upcoming RPG release Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne has received a Mature rating from the ESRB. Most RPGs receive an Everyone or Teen rating, rather than a Mature rating, which requires the game's buyer to be aged 17 or older. The newest PlayStation 2 installment in Atlus' flagship series is not based on the original Japanese release, but rather the enhanced version titled Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne Maniacs, which among other additions, also features Dante from Capcom's Devil May Cry series.

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne will be released in the US on September 21st. The two versions have sold more than 300,000 copies combined in Japan.
