Dragon Quest VIII To Be Playable at TGS

In the newest issue of Japanese publication Dengeki PlayStation, it was confirmed that the Level 5-developed Dragon Quest VIII will be playable at Square Enix's Tokyo Game Show booth later this month. Both Dragon Quest VIII and Final Fantasy XII were suspiciously absent from the company's prelimary exhibition list for the event.While Square Enix still lists the game for a winter release, an unofficial November 27th release date has surfaced recently. Tokyo Game Show 2004 will take place in the halls of Chiba's Makuhari Messe Japan Convention Center from September 24th through 26th.
