Square Enix has registered 200,000 users on the launch day of Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, making the NTT DoCoMo FOMA-based network action RPG title the best selling celllphone-based title so far. Taking place before the events of Square Enix's most successful title ever, Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII puts players in control of a male or a female newcomer to Shinra's elite special unit known as the Turks. Released more than seven years ago forPlayStation One, Final Fantasy VII has sold more than nine million copies worldwide.
