Matrix Online Receives Official Release Date

Sega of America and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today revealed the official release date for the highly anticipated PC MMORPG title The Matrix Online. Originally scheduled for a November release, the Monolith Productions-developed game has been delayed until January 18th to allow the two companies to launch the game simultaneously in the US and Europe.Fans who pre-order The Matrix Online beginning next week, will receive free access to a closed beta testing phase, which will commence on November 18th as well as access to the final product three days ahead of the official launch date. Furthermore, they will be treated to an advanced-level ability called Hyper Jump.
