Earth and Beyond Shuts Down

Today at 10:00 AM Pacific time, Electronic Arts shut down all servers to Earth and Beyond, Westwood Studios' last project before being dissolved into the EA structure. Given an 88% upon release, Earth and Beyond was an exploration-oriented MMORPG that didn't have the subscription numbers to rival larger games like Everquest or Final Fantasy XI Online.EA states that Earth and Beyond has been discontinued to focus the manpower on other projects.
