RPGFan News: Debut of New Search System
10.10.04 - 1:10 AM

Anyone who has ever used our search field up top there was probably disappointed more often than not. What you may not know is that the database for that somewhat ancient search system required manual updating. Meaning, if you searched for something semi-recent and didn't find it, it's because someone either forgot to update it, or didn't have the time to. Of course, one can't be expected to do this daily, so it made searching a pain.

Clearly, not a fantastic system. As you can see, we now have a new, Google-powered search in place. Along with searching all of RPGFan (the default setting), you can also choose to perform a standard web-wide Google search by selecting the "WWW" button, if you so desire. Using this new search setup, it only provides you with more up-to-date results, but incredibly more accurate ones.

So, we hope you like it, since now it... you know, works.
