Dragon Quest VIII Preview Update

The latest in our string of preview updates comes from Chris Winkler. He wrote our original preview for Square Enix's Dragon Quest VIII, and has now supplied an update to it, containing all of the new information released since then. It's an informative read if you haven't been keeping up with the countless minor news bits released here and there.Along with this, our Dragon Quest VIII gallery has now reached over 200 screenshots, due to some new additions by editor James Kelly. The 23 new screenshots show a few battle scenes with classic Dragon Quest monsters like Slime Knights and Golems as well as a few new faces to the series. Dragon Quest VIII is set for release in Japan on November 27th for the PlayStation 2, with a North American release expected sometime in 2005.
