Square Enix Releases New Dragon Quest VIII Details

Square Enix has revealed some new details regarding its upcoming blockbuster Dragon Quest VIII: Sora to Umi to Daichi to Norowareshi Himegimi. The Level 5-developed PlayStation 2 title will feature a so-called alchemic kettle. This practical grey utility will allow players to create new items, by throwing in two items from their inventory. The kettle will even allow for the creation of rare items. Furthermore, the kettle can be used whenever the carriage is around. Like the latter, the kettle is also managed by Trode, the player's mysterious monster-like companion.Dragon Quest VIII: Sora to Umi to Daichi to Norowareshi Himegimi will be released in Japan on November 27th for 8,800 yen ($80.31 US).
