Square Enix Announces Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII for PSP

Square Enix has finally revealed its mystery title for Sony Computer Entertainment's new handheld PlayStation Portable. Titled Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, the action RPG is being produced by Yoshinori Kitase, head of the company's first production team and directed by Hajime Tahata, who also served as director of the recently released cell-phone based Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII. As with all installments of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, Tetsuya Nomura will serve as character designer.Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII will be available in Japan sometime in early 2006.
