Square Enix Updates Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Website

Square Enix has updated the official website for Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song. The PlayStation 2 remake of the Super Famicom classic will feature the entire original cast of eight protagonists: The young nobleman Albert, the nomad girl Aisha, the pirate Hawk, the gifted female warrior Sif, the adventurer Gray, the forest guard Claudia, the thief Jamil and the travelling dancer Babara. Apart from the game's environments, which now appear in full 3D, the characters also look quite different from their predecessors on the Super Famicom. While the character's faces look more realistic in Minstrel Song, their proportions are still reminiscent of the original game's sprites. Information on new characters, such as the black-clad Dark or the bard shown in the remake's logo has not been released so far.Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song for PlayStation 2 will be available in Japan sometime in spring 2005.
