Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean Ships
11.17.04 - 2:48 AM

Namco Hometek announced today that Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean for the Nintendo Gamecube shipped to retail. Taking the role of Kalas, players attempt to save their cherished world. Although the combat is card-based, the game throws an engaging battle and item system in the mix. Players are given over 1000 objects to work with, including Magnus cards that are used to capture the essence of objects, weapons, and spells. The game is produced by Shinji Noguchi, Producer of Chrono Cross and Xenosaga.

Baten Kaitos is available exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube for a retail price of $49.99 USD. You can read Chris Winkler's preview of the game below.
