Spiderweb Software Announces Geneforge 3

Seattle, Washington-based Spiderweb Software has announced the newest installment of its fantasy RPG adventure series Geneforge. Geneforge 3 for PC and Macintosh will put players in the role of a Shaper. Those rare individuals have the power to create life and mold it in order to serve their own needs. Hence, Shapers are feared and respected in the game's world. However, the protagonist's school comes under attack and is being destroyed, as rebels and monsters challenge the rule of the Shapers. Geneforge 3's storyline will give you the chance to seek friends and try to defeat the rebels or join them. Depending on your choices throughout the game you will see one of one multiple ending sequences.Geneforge 3 will be available sometime during the first half of 2005 for 25 USD. Bundled with a strategy guide, it will retail for $32 US.
