Nippon Ichi Software Announces Marl's Kingdom for Cellphones

Nippon Ichi Software has announced a cellphone-based version of its popular 1998 title Marl no Oukoku no Ningyou Hime. In this FOMA900i-compatible i-mode game, players will control Cornett, who has to rescue a prince kidnapped by a witch. In towns, one can purchase weapons and items. Puppets and monsters can be recruited as party members. Compared to the original PlayStation One version, the cellphone release will feature a secret diary and observation notes.

Marl Oukoku no Ningyou Hime i will be available in Japan on January 24th. The monthly usage fee is 300 yen ($2.89 USD).
