Hudson Adds VS Mode to Mobile Tengai Makyou

Hudson has introduced Mobile Tengai Makyou: Hatashiai in Japan today. Hatashiai is the newest component of the cellphone-based Mobile Tengai Makyou. It will enable players to engage in versus battles against each other. Players won't have to create new characters, but can send their virtual alter-egos, which they have created for Mobile Tengai Makyou, into battle. Judging from initial screenshots, the game will support up to two players per party. The new application makes use of the 3D Sound feature included in NTT DoCoMo's FOMA 901i series of cellphones. Winning a battle will earn you points which can be traded for items.Mobile Tengai Makyou: Hatashiai can be accessed via the Mobile Tengai Makyou site. The monthly usage fee for this service is 500 yen ($4.80 US).
