New Radiata Stories Details Released

Square Enix has released a new round of details regarding its newest PlayStation 2 title Radiata Stories. In addition to humans, the tri-Ace-developed action RPG will feature many different races, among them dwarves, dark and light elves. While they usually have little contact with humans, some of them have established friendly relations with humans. The alcohol-loving dwarves produce weapons made of minerals, which they also sell to humans in order to earn their living. Light elves are not only the eldest elven race, but they also possess wings allowing them to fly like birds. Due to their love for nature, they despise humans, who are destroying nature. The elves' guardian is the dragon. Apparently the game's story will evolve at least partially around the antagonism between humans and elves.Radiata Stories will be available in Japan on January 27th for 7,800 yen ($76.46 US).
