Soraya Saga Stops Working on Xenosaga

Scenario writer Soraya Saga has stopped working on Monolith Soft's Xenosaga series. The wife of series mastermind Tetsuya Takahashi announced her decision on her official website without giving any reasons. Before joining Monolith Soft together with her husband in 1999, Saga worked on Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy VI, Romancing SaGa 3 and Xenogears for Square under the name Kaori Tanaka. At Namco-subsidiary Monolith Software, she worked on Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht and Xenosaga Epsiode II: Jenseits von Gut und Boese for PlayStation 2 as well as the cellphone-based side story Xenosaga: Pied Piper.Soraya Saga is now working as a freelance writer and designer.
