The Chinese People's Daily is reporting that Sega is officially studying the prospects of bringing its PC online RPG Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst to the mainland Chinese market. At a press conference in Beijing the head of Sega's R&D division and Sonic Team president Yuuji Naka mentioned his company was currently working on seven online games. Initially, three of these games are scheduled for release in China. While Naka did not go into any specifics, Sega has already confirmed a Chinese release for the Yu Suzuki-produced Shenmue Online last year.
