Capcom Announces Gyakuten Saiban DS for US Release

At a promotional event in Las Vegas, Capcom announced that the newest installment of its popular adventure series Gyakuten Saiban, tentatively titled Gyakuten Saiban DS will be released in North America this summer. In the series' Nintendo DS debut, players will assume the role of defense attorney Phoenix Wright. Just like its predecessors, the first-person adventure will feature an investigation and a court phase. During the former, players will survey crime scenes, interview witnesses and gather evidence required to defend their clients, while they will need present their findings, listen to testimonies and examine witnesses during the court phase. Maya Fey is Phoenix's assistant. Her psychic power come in particular handy for the attorney. Veteran attorney Mia Fey is Phoenix's mentor and continues support him, while prosecutor Miles Edgeworth is his archrival. The slick man, who has an intense hatred for criminal behavior, has never lost a case.Gyakuten Saiban DS will be released in the US sometime this summer.
