02.16.05 - 2:11 AM

Koei has set up a development studio in Singapore. The new studio's first project is an MMO adaption of the company's popular Sangokushi (Romance of the Three Kingdoms) franchise. Currently, a Japanese, English and Chinese version have been confirmed to be in the works and the game is scheduled for a 2007 release in Japan, South Korea, mainland China, Taiwan and Singapore.

With 100 staffers, among them ten Japanese, Koei Entertainment Singapore has become the company's largest subsidiary outside Japan.
