Square Enix Aims Big for New Fiscal Year

Square Enix's president Youichi Wada stated yesterday that he expects his company to post a consolidated operating profit of a little over 30 billion yen (284.2 million US) during the next fiscal year ending on March 31st 2006. For the current fiscal year, Square Enix projects an operating profit of 26.5 billion yen ($251.04 million US) on sales of 73 billion yen ($691.55 million US).Following a a series of delays, the highly anticipated Final Fantasy XII will be released in Japan (and most likely North America as well) sometime during the new fiscal year 2005/2006.
