Square Enix Announces Heavy Metal Thunder
03.03.05 - 3:07 AM

At a previously announced live event taking place in Tokyo today, Square Enix revealed a new PlayStation 2 game titled Heavy Metal Thunder. Despite today's official announcement, the game still remains a mystery, as the company revealed no details, except for its target platform.

At the event, a new television program to be broadcasted on TV Tokyo was introduced. Titled Heavy Metal Variety, the program will feature air guitar contests and introductions of female heavy metal fans. The heavy metal combo Sex Machine Guns also gave a short live concert performing the program's theme song Heavy Metal Thunder, resulting in a lot of head banging from fans.

Heavy Metal Thunder for PlayStation 2 has yet to receive a release date.
