New Star Wars Galaxies Expansion Hits In May

LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment announced today the planned release of Star Wars Galaxies: Episode III Rage of the Wookiees, the newest expansion to their MMO, Star Wars Galaxies.Available March 5 for download, preorders will begin sometime in April for this new expansion. The game features content from the upcoming film, Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and will have over 100 missions taking place on the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk. Characters will now be able to enhance themselves with cybernetic limbs as well as make some cash by mining asteroids. Rage of the Wookiees will feature an all-new combat system and interface; new weapons and spacecraft will also surface when the expansion hits in May.
