New Tales of Legendia Details Announced
03.19.05 - 1:39 AM

Namco has released some new tidbits regarding its PlayStation 2 title Tales of Legendia. The popular RPG series' newest addition will feature the latest version of the classic Linear Motion Battle system. Dubbed Cross Over Linear Motion battle system, it will feature the return of some classic elements. Players will now watch the action unfold from a side view. On the screen, party members and enemies will be positioned along one single line, instead of the three lines featured in Tales of Rebirth. The Force Gauge of Tales of Rebirth has also been dumped in favor of the well-known TP. As they execute special skills and techniques, characters will consume those TPs. Nonetheless battles will still unfold in the same fast-paced manner as ever. Up to four of your party members can take part in battle. Out of those four, players will always control the first one in line.

Tales of Legendia will be available in Japan sometime this year.
