First Black Mages Concert Confirmed for May

Square Enix today announced, that the company is planning a new Final Fantasy concert for mid-May, just before the beginning of this year's edition of the Electronic Entertainment Expo E3. Titled More Friends: Music from Final Fantasy: With Special Guests, it will feature performances by the World Festival Symphony Orchestra and the CSUF University Singers conducted by Arnie Roth, The Black Mages and additional guest performers whose identity remains a secret for the time being. The concert in the Universal Amphitheatre on May 16th will mark the first time that Nobuo Uematsu's rock band The Black Mages will perform outside Japan.

Tickets for the concert have gone on sale today at all Ticketmaster outlets, the main and Citywalk box offices of the Universal Amphitheatre. They can also booked under telephone number 213.252.8497 or Ticketmaster's website.
