Banpresto Announces Newest Summon Night Title for PS2
03.29.05 - 2:21 PM

Banpresto has announced Summon Night Exthesis: Yoake no Tsubasa. Unlike the numbered series installments, this newest addition to the company's popular RPG series will be an action RPG. Developed by the studio behind Black/Matrix Flight-Plan, the game will feature two protagonists, Leon and Eina. In fact, they are the same person, however during the game the male warrior Leon will transform into the female Eina. Since Leon is more powerful and Eina is faster, players can use their respective abilities to their advantage, by switching between the two. Summoned creatures will also be at your disposal in the game. Unlike their counterparts in Final Fantasy however, the creatures in Summon Night Exthesis can also be utilized on the game's field map, for instance to open treasure chests which are out of the protagonist's reach.

Summon Night Exthesis: Yoake no Tsubasa will be available in Japan sometime this summer.
